Electric Vehicle Charging - Essential information

This information is from the NICEIC who we are proudly registered with

https://www.niceic.com/find-a-contractor/electric-vehicles

Householder information

The use of electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles is growing strongly; the numbers of charging points installed has grown 7 fold over the last six years and is forecast to grow by 10 times in the next 5 years. The current percentage of new cars registered each year which are electric or hybrid is 2%, this is forecast to rise to 10% by 2022.

This increase provides a real opportunity for trained and registered electricians to diversify and increase their business by installing EV charge points at home, at the kerbside, commercial premises and at the workplace, and also to obtain grants against the installation costs for their customers.
